Can you say WHAT HAPPENED?!? I know I can! And honestly after reading through the last two posts, I can see where things should’ve been a little clearer… 2015 was indeed a BEAUTIFUL year now looking back, but it definitely wasn’t the easiest. It was more akin to being like that glorious quote from Anne Brontë. But yeah Every Rose Has It’s Thorn and talk about gaining some scars from the thorns! Yeesh! But here we are almost part way through 2016 and this year’s word is Solace. While there has been plenty of comfort, there’s really more work needing to be done and with today being my Lunar Return along with Retrograde Mars entering back into Scorpio, my natal 4th house, well.. it’s time to regenerate some roots!
June starts off with clearing any remnants of the Mercury retrograde that just occurred and a liveliness leads a feeling as though anything can be accomplished with the Sun and Venus in Gemini! Just don’t spread yourself thin between too many choices! Mars in Scorpio provides the motivation to work on acquiring and updating your skills though you’ll need to be careful not to be over obsessive about your goals. Mercury briefly joins the Sun and Venus in Gemini on the 12th as it changes signs bringing with it more fuel to unrestrained optimism, while Neptune finally turns direct the following day! But expect some challenges on the 17th as Venus moves into committed Cancer while Saturn squares off with Neptune making it difficult to see how reality and fantasy can co-exist and manifest into something stable and secure. The energy of the Sun’s movement into Cancer on the 20th culminates along with the Solstice Full Moon in the last degree Sagittarius. This Full Moon ends what was established with the Flower Full Moon (seeing them roses and thorns some more now?) from May 21st that was the first degree of Sagittarius and brought about questions of beliefs and ideals. Take the time this month to see things through so that the life you *think* can happen, actually DOES spark into manifested destiny!
Aries – Knight of Pentacles (R) – With the Sun in your 3rd house of ideas you may find it difficult to remain composed but you’ll really need to focus to stay in control. Even if things seem desperate, try to find some hope in knowing things don’t need completely switched up to keep moving forward. Stay to your own group before trying to expand into another social circle with how you think things should be done or you could be met with harsh resistance. You can only expect to go as far as you’re willing to allow others help you, but trust and consistency with friendships also depend on how much you’re willing to put into it too!
Taurus – Ace of Swords – The truth shall set you free, but first it’ll piss you off could be your mantra this month with the Sun in your 2nd house of self-worth, and you’ll need to be aware of any changing opinions. It may feel as though you have to fight to prove your point, but you’ll have a better reception with grace and ease once Mercury leaves your sign. While you like to keep things as stable and routine as possible, it will be time to move past any insecurities and take the lead in brushing up on any skills you’ve been neglecting. Take this renewed courage and cut out any BS that’s holding you back!
Gemini – Seven of Pentacles (R) – A little patience is needed while working towards goals, so don’t give up before reaching the finish line and do the best that you can while the Sun is in your sign! If you’re questioning what the point in your efforts are, you might need to step back and decide if this is the right path at all! It’s up to you to decide how much energy to put in with what you want to receive and achieve and you don’t need to settle for what’s convenient. If your heart isn’t into it than the fruits will lose it’s sweetness and will taste sour for the labor!
Cancer – The World (R) – Don’t worry if you can’t see the trees through the forest just yet! By the time the Sun moves into your sign on the 20th things will make a lot more sense, but it may feel like a struggle to keep up with responsibilities and get things done. Stay flexible while the Sun finishes out it’s time in your 12th house of subconscious and you’ll be able to see more clearly what is working and what won’t in the transformations that are taking place. Make sure that you don’t become complacent in feeling like your efforts aren’t being valuable or appreciated and remember that every little piece of a puzzle is important.
Leo – Knight of Swords (R) – You can’t get along with or make everyone happy 100% of the time! Even if you’re feeling justified you’ll need to be careful with the Sun in your 11th house of friendship that you don’t give into other’s negativity or it may feel like you’re arguing with a wall. But if you’re compromising your ideals, you’ll need to step back to have a better understanding and perspective of what you’re dealing with if it feels uncomfortable to you. Don’t try so hard for people to like you or you’ll have more explaining to do when your true feelings come to light! Stand proud for what you believe in!
Virgo – Queen of Wands (R) – Goals might seem outright exhausting with the Sun in 10th house of responsibilities and you might be needing more attention and less concerned in taking control with situations. This could lead to resentment if others are seeing you as selfish but you’re genuinely needing their assistance. Take a deep breath, before trying to have any meaningful discussions! It might be important to re-evaluate expectations or how you see the “rules” in order to get your wants and needs met and if communication continues feeling strained, take the time to listen rather than proving your point and there could be more common ground than appears to be there.
Libra – King of Swords – The Sun in your 9th house of truth and philosophy brings about new, clear ideas with rational judgement making decisions this month easy to manage. Others see your confidence and may seek out your assistance in helping them to see the bigger picture. But it could weigh heavily on you if you allow them to become too dependent and while you have a reasonable understanding of situations, becoming too involved could lead to taking accountability for their decisions. Just make sure that you keep a balance in your own experiences with being open to new adventures that will continue guiding you with your purpose!
Scorpio – Nine of Wands – With the Sun in your 8th house of transformation right now you’re ready to jump over the Moon, but it’ll be better to take action once the Sun moves into Cancer on the 20th when you’ll feel less scattered and a better understanding of where the path is leading. If you’re frustrated from questioning where the path has come from, remember that you’ve laid the blueprints for what’s being manifested! Set aside any vulnerabilities and someone will be able to boost your confidence in knowing you’ve thought things through enough. Just because you can’t see the forest for the trees doesn’t mean to burn it all down!
Sagittarius – Eight of Wands – Working together with others to reach your goals will be key with the Sun in your 7th house of partnerships, but everyone has their strengths and weaknesses and you’ll need to be aware of where they are. New changes are able to happen easily if necessary, but continue staying focused on the tasks at hand or you may end up with more disappointment than excitement with what’s going on. If you’re trying to prove to others how much you can take on, aggravation more than accomplishment might come about but the distractions will easily fade away if you remember to ask for help when needed. No man is an island!
Capricorn – Death (R) – The old ways of doing things is coming to an end and as much as you might want to catch a break this month; with the Sun in your 6th house of routines and daily life, you might be a little reluctant to change. If you find yourself insecure in making decisions, you could have better luck going with the path of resistance to see what new opportunities can shake you from your rut. Try not to have a pessimistic attitude if things seem as though they’re trudging along without you. The emotional and physical frustration and stagnation shall pass and you’ll find a more rewarding way of appreciating the journey you’re on!
Aquarius – Ace of Cups – Your cup is overflowing with giving as the Sun breezes through your 5th house of inspiration. The support and caring you receive further brings you an emotional boost of confidence and you’ll be moving through this month with fun and ease. Creative projects may help take you into new social circles that will further encourage the connections you have with others and renews the ingenuity that you may have felt has been lacking lately. Make sure that you do take time to yourself to reflect on how far that you’ve come and accomplished and you’ll see the deeper intentions from your dreams continuing to be realized!
Pisces – The Tower (R) – Life may seem to be rather surprising this month and some inner turmoil causes friction in your 4th house of stability. You’ll need to be more sincere in communicating the uncertainty of your own thoughts and others actions. Seeing what will be beneficial and what isn’t currently working will lead you to more of where, what, and who you’re needing to put your effort into for the long term. But if you’re needing to defend past decisions, it could be the time to re-evaluate if those choices are now being beneficial or if you’re needing to let go of what’s keeping you from building something stronger and more secure for yourself.
