Usually I try to avoid these sorts of blog posts.. it’s not that I don’t want my readers to be able to get to know me, but I kinda leave that sort of thing for facebook or my IM; which you’re able to reach me at on the right hand side where Digsby is given that I’m signed in of course! But after reading quite a few blogs today, I noticed it was making the rounds so I though “What the heck”!! Besides, my blog has been lacking a little bit of content ATM anyways.. but that’s mostly because I have a writing project I’m working on that I was contracted for with some deadlines that gotta be met, so not quite as much time to spend on my own stuff! Do you have a magical/Pagan name? Not anymore.. at least not a “public” magickal/Pagan name. I’ve been through quite a few of them though.. The 2 most people would know were Ravyn LemonDream or Aine Benandanti. I had a brief stint as a Morrighan.. but that was pretty short lived!
What does it mean? Ravyn was more when I was associated with the Dianic tradition. The whole “girl power” let’s change out “e’s” to “y’s”. LemonDream.. that one I can’t honestly remember how I came up with it.. I do like lemon’s quite a bit and yellow is one of my favorite colors.. It was my primary fave color for a while, but I’ve since gone back to royal blue as my favorite! I think the dream part was for a lot of different things, but mostly because having my first precog dream at a young age seemed to put me on the path.
How did you find Paganism? I’ve always questioned religion.. I had a split family where one side was Catholic and the other side Baptist. It was interesting to say the least. I used to sneak into the adult section of the library since the kids mythology books I’d read a million and one times. How long have you been practicing? Probably a lot longer than I realize.. I just didn’t have a name for it. But if I wanted to put a number to when it was more serious, 20 years! OMG.. I just did the math! LOL!
Solitary or group practitioner? At the moment, solitary. But I LOVE group work! I’ve been in a few FABULOUS groups and have been to some great public rituals as well.
What is your path? Eclectic all the way!! A little bit of this and a little bit of that.. I guess I can blame that on my mutty heritage though too!
Are you out of the broom closet? Definitely!! And it’s FAB! It took a loooooong time to be completely out though! But even when I was still “in”, I always had half myself out!

Who is your patron God? Cernunnos for the most part. Though Dian Y Glas and Melek Taus are rather important to me too.
Who is your patron Goddess? Aine.. hands down. She has been for 10 years now. I used to work quite a bit with Cerridwen
What Gods do you worship? I can’t say as I exactly “worship” anything.. maybe coffee.. LOL! But me and the Gods work together in a respectful way.
Do you fear darkly aspected Gods/Goddess, or rather respect them? I don’t fear them, no.. I do respect them just as I respect any of them! I just think they might get more of a bad rep more than anything..
Do you worship the Christian God? Once again, no. But I do talk with Jesus on a regular basis.. I don’t see any reason to exclude him from the group!
Do you ever worship animals? My goodness.. what is with all this worshiping?! But no, I don’t worship animals. They’re my little buddies.. or big depending on the critter! And there’s plenty we can learn from them!

Do you regularly commune with nature? Absolutely!!! I love the feel of soil running through my fingers when I garden, the grass between my toes, or the gentle embrace of a warm lake!
Ever walked barefoot in the woods? Definitely!! I try to be barefoot as much as possible.. I have this thing against socks.
Taken a camping trip just to talk to nature? Yes, I LOVE camping.. even if it means missing out on showers. LOL!
Describe the moment you felt closest to Mother Earth? Oh gosh.. that’s a TOUGH one!! Maybe while giving birth?! I’m really not sure.. it’s just so natural to tap into that energy that it’s just something that always seems to be there.
Do you have a familiar? Not just one.. My one cat is an absolute Reiki/magick addict! He LOVES to be a part of the energy. My other cat seems to be a great channel of energy for when I write.. mostly astrology stuff though. My chihuahua… well this is my 2nd one actually.. but he is always my “go to” for advice. There’s just something about chihuahua eyes… My ferrets remind me to have fun… but they also have their own energies that they help with too!

I have what I call just a sacred space which seems somewhat cave like but has lots of candles.. there’s all sorts of places I’ll visit!

Do you believe in past lives? Yes, absolutely!
If so, describe a few briefly: Well.. my last one wasn’t entirely the best.. I “worked the red light”, if ya know what I mean! I ended up being stabbed and left in an alley. I absolutely LOVE disco and dance music though because of that lifetime.. I reincarnated extremely quickly from my last life. I was also a teacher “on the prairie land”, a maid in France who ended up being stabbed, I was also hanged in France at one point.. and then I have some boring ones too..

Is it always love and light? No way!! And it would be pretty darn boring if it was!!
